1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]

introduction
My name i guess you've already got that! well i'm 44 years old and ive been around coins my whole life!My family owned a swimming place here in Dalton ga.so they charged 50 cents per person,so my grandmother kept 5 gallon buckets of the silver coins, just 1 example to show you what volume i'm talking about, she moved out of her house to a trailer on same property, now i never understood why all of this wasnt in a bank somewhere, but her house got broken into and two guys had four suitcases of gold twenty dollar double eagles of course other gold coins where in there but they paid a taxi driver face value to drive them to NewvYork city, where they were caught.and only had a few gold twenties left. And one good thing was when i was ten years or so i found one they had left it only had silver in it,but it filled a five gallon bucket, and im asking my uncle right now for it and the 1929 gold double eagle she wore around her neck! of course she died almost twenty five years ago now,and she was my life, and ive only got five years left myself and i want that coin resting by my heart when i become bed ridden through my death, long story but im a coin roll hunter, and since i dont no how to make my on website, sale on ebay,or amazon it looks like im a coin hoarder..lol.but ive got four Harpers Ferry new doubled dies all on the first window above first door, ive got them and a Arkansas state quarter error that will be the first, wish me luck.Thats me now, went from mt.bikes and kayaks to coin roll hunter..

Re: introduction
Welcome Steve.
Sounds like your grandmother meant the world to you. Sorry those morons got away with her coins and hope you are able to get the one you mentioned that belonged to her.
