Hey Daniel how are you? This is Greg Mccoy and i was wanting to show you this 1927p.I got it out of those wheat cents i got from you and had a few questions about it.It connects rim to rim.Its hard to see in pic but look from Lincoln's ear to the 9 and down to Lincoln's shirt by the rim.Would this coin be worth grading in your opinion and could you give me a round about estimation on a value if any in this coin.Either way i wouldnt be offended, I think its a nice find.

This is a slight lamination and the grading companies don't grade coins with laminations anymore. It's not a high grade coin but a neat little find.

Thanks alot. That answers my question.I wasnt sure if it was a die crack or lamination. It is flaking in a few spots so thats what i was leaning towards. I hope my order went through yesterday.I've been having problems with being able to get my card to go through for some reason.

A die crack is actually on the die and translates to the coin has a raised areas as the planchet metal filled in the cracked are of the die. Die cracks don't flake or have areas you can see under the metal.
