The image looks gold but it's actually silver color.

. Hello. This is the first time I've tried to contact anyone about what I have. I've got several types of coins. But the one I'm speaking on today is on the back of my 1988 Quarter. On the back at the bottom where it says Quarter Dollar. Well mine says Quarter ollar. The D in Dollar is missing and the word ollar is worn almost flat. So I was wandering if this quarter was worth anything. Please let me know. I'll try to enclose a photo of my quarter. Thank you and God Bless.
Melinda Johnson.

Welcome!
Letters sometimes go missing like this when the die gets plugged with grease or debris. It is actually fairly common.
