Hello. I'm Melissa and I have been collecting for a few years now. I haven't found anything real cool yet other than some small dares and large dates and a wide am but I still love collecting. What kind of magnifying glass would be best to use? I have thought I found some errors but they seem to always get shot down. I look forward to getting advice from this group.

Welcome to the forum. Using anything above 20x magnifier isn't required. All major varieties can be seen with a 10x easy.

Melissa, Welcome to the forum and try not to get too discouraged. Best thing to do is keep at it and keep learning. The more you look, the higher your chances of success. Sounds like you've gotten the collecting bug and we look forward to helping on your journey.

That wide AM is a nice find no matter what the date.
(ps. I have a nice sister in law that spells her name that same way. Not two L's even though that was my first impulse. lol: )
