Coin mint error?

This coin has been badly damaged but images are blurry and can't be sure on how it was damaged.

Hi, thank you for looking at it. I will try to get some better images.
Also, there aren't any ridges, I think that is the right term. I am referring to the lines around the coin.

1. PMD = Post Mint Damage

I agree with Daniel and Paul.
Yours is easier to see than most. I have seen a similar effect when metal is heated with a torch applied to the center. The center expands much quicker than the perimeter of the coin which causes the coin to "bubble" outwards.
