Hello to all. Never had much interest till I found this nickel in my change, The Jefferson Bust on this what appears to be a 1997 nickel, has like a ghost reverse image of the Monticello on it. The words Monticello and Five Cents are spelt backwards.
Any one got any ideas??
The coin appears to have 2 distinct very thin layers as can be seen from the edge and there is a chip that shows lettering on the back side of one layer.New and odd nickel

Re: New and odd nickel
:eureka:
this is caused when the reverse of another nickel is 'pressed into' the obverse of a different nickel
