First ever forum - dime question.

#1 Unread post by Caron » Fri Jul 21, 2017 6:12 pm

I've never been on any forum before. I'm from South Arkansas and have recently come into lots of coins. Could someone direct me to the proper terminology for searching for information on something like this?
Both sides have noticibly raised edges. Both sides seem inset. Date is slightly cut off.

Someone has rolled this edge; maybe to start a coin ring or to mess around with it. So it is post mint damage or PMD.

:eureka:
a common term for this is "SPOONED"......
it is 'PMD' (Post Mint Damage)

Thank you! I have many other questions about some neat ones I've found. Should I post on this thread or make new ones?

You should make new ones so it's less confusing but by all means post them!
