question on Ike dollar grades

#1 Unread post by RandyHerndon »

Hello everyone. I am just getting back into the hobby as I am retired now. My job and medical conditions prevented me little time for the last 25 plus years too enjoy numismatics. I have a question on grading of clad Ike dollars I am hoping I can get assistance on. I will attach the photos shot on various backgrounds, lighting and angles. What would yo say the grades were on these two Ike dollars from 1972D and 1977D. Thank you all so much.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not the one for shiny Ikes by any means but the 1972P might be MS64/65 and the '77D a slightly better MS65.

I am thinking they look MS64 to MS65 but the images are not the best.

Here's our photograding guide http://coinauctionshelp.com/eisenhower_dollar.html

We also have our own grading acronym list http://coinauctionshelp.com/Coin_Grading_Guide.html
