This was my first find that got me in to coin searching. Any idea what it would go for it was in circulation so doubt it is worth anything and I can't ever let go to begin with

Welcome to the forum.
The coins like this are interesting and will make your heart skip a beat but it is considered PSD- post strike damage (occurring after the coin is struck by the dies, damage can happen at the mint). It occured when two coins were pressed together, either intentionally or by accident. One easy way to tell is that the impression by the second coin is incuse (indented or recessed into the surface of the coin). Thanks for sharing.
