question on a state quarter error

#1 Unread post by l8tnisgr8 »

I have a Rhode Island state quarter that is copper on the obverse and silver on reverse. It is thinner and weighs a gram less than a normal state quarter. Missing clad layer?? I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the value of this is, if any?

Welcome!

Would love to help, but we really need to see a photo of both sides. If you are using a cell phone, make sure you get up close, but still in focus.

We do need to see photos but if it is a missing clad layer than it will need a grade. Usually these start at $50 depending on the grade.
