Hi.
just wanted to be polite and all that.
im a Construction Manager and a bit of a rock hound.. ive been in construction all my working life but in management only 4 years.
I have some delights to upload, found about 3 months ago in recycled crushed hardcore,, used as a sub base for paths and drives ect..
to be clear I have no interest to gain financially and consider myself an artefact spotter,in my leisure time.
On reading thru before I registered , I got the sense of (enthusiasm firstly, but joyed also for less perfect coins.
Kind regards from baggpuss uk

Re: Hey from uk
Welcome and congratulations (hopefully!) on bumping up to management. You pegged it right, lots of enthusiasm here; for learning, sharing and history. We look forward to whatever you have to share. Coins and artifacts seem to draw out people's curious side!

These images are both sides of the same object? Please include images of the edge if there is any reeding, design or repeating pattern on the edge. Also city found in, type of metal (if known), the diameter as well as the weight in grams will help. Thanks

Hey Baggpuss, it kind of looks to me like one of the slugs you take out of an electrical panel when you add a new wire to a breaker... Just my opinion..
