I just found this brokage coin and naturally would like to know the value. It has rim imprints and other details that I can't identify. Any ideas?

This could be damage or an incomplete clip, but I can't see the coin well in this image.

first, it is important, the EVERYONE, when posting pics, post BOTH SIDES of the coin...

working from your picture....see below
if you look closely, do you see any type of 'design, lettering, numbers....so on', pressed on top of, lightly, in the 'upper' part of the coin, over the semi-circular marking?

i have an idea here :eureka: , but do not hugeeyes this as a 'part clip' or 'brockage'....from these pics

you must realize we see a ton of PMD1, or 'home-made' errors here. there are a large amount of people who do this, they list/sell them them as 'errors', because 'john q. public' just does not know any better.....

you might have to look at the coin with 'a single light source away from you, at a steep angle' to 'see' the light impressions on the surface.

1. POST MINT DAMAGE
