Lincoln memorial penny

My friends call me moses I found a Lincoln memorial penny with a missing E in the e pluribus unum is this a normal find?

It is common to find missing letters and even numbers and this happen from being struck with a grease filled die. The E cavity was filled with a compound. It can also be accidentally removed by a mint employee removing clash marks when the two dies clash without a planchet in between.
