I finally found this after many years, being a paperboy in the mid 70's and an amateur coin collector, I got in change many great coins including this one. I loved it when an older person went into their coin jar and paid me with buffalo nickels or in silver!
My question, How do I exactly describe this error, a lamination w/ intact peel? How rare? From examples I've seen in a short search this looks to be significantly large. Not sure if you guys discuss value but if so what would something like this be worth.
Thanks
Lincoln cent lamination large ?

Re: Lincoln cent lamination large ?
What's the date? It looks to be a possible extreme lamination. Value would depend on what the collector would buy it for since the market on lamination errors is thin.

Re: Lincoln cent lamination large ?
Nice lamination error for sure...the description you used is pretty good.Or maybe just "Huge lamination error"... I would bet it brings at least $40 on eBay and wouldn't be surprised if it brought double that.I do know a lamination collector if you try to sell it.
