1984 Die Clash

#1 Unread post by Nolifeking »

I found this one last night and thought I'd post it. It is the strongest prisoner clash I've found.

Thanks guys. These are always neat to find. Daniel has me beat with the one he found awhile back though.

Nice one Mike...I still haven't found one..but I think partly because I can't see without a loupe and I concentrate on the devices...I'm more of a doubled die guy than anything.

These aren't that hard to spot especially on the 1984's. Since the 1984 doubled ear can be seen with the naked eye no problem I don't use a loupe on them. Just by concentrating on the central area of the ear you can't miss a die clash like this, which is known for on 1984's.

Mike.. I know what to look for...I just don't take the time .

When you get old enough, you have to have priorities because you just can't do it all anymore :l

And my days of seeing anything on a Lincoln Cent with the naked eye are long gone widegrin

What about this one? 1978 D. It is certainy a LOT LESS, but it looks a little better than the picutre. Just let me know if it is indeed a die clash. Also, is it anything worth keeping?

thanks!!

Can't tell from the image but here's some reverse overlays that will help http://coinauctionshelp.com/smallcent_overlays.html
