1966 P Abe's forehead strike through? And a blob

#1 Unread post by pahwa »

I don't know what to call this but there is a deep void area in Abe's forehead and face, then on the reverse of the coin there is a raised area corresponding to the void. Is this what is called a strike through? It is kind of hard to photograph the damage but I think you guys will get the idea. Thanks.

The second coin 1970 D is just a good sized blob on a column. (Didn't want to start a new thread just for a blob. widegrin

The 1966 looks like old damage like a car ran over it as it lay in a rock, the 1970-D is die breaks. Nice die breaks, I might add.
