I grade it MS64 with a shot at Red, but it's not graded. I have one MS65RD by PCGS and it appears the same grade, but the coin has toned a little in the PCGS holder so it's now RB.

It is a great coin! I'd love to have one but so far the only error coin I bought was an off center penny. It be wonderful to find one!

I didn't buy it at ebay and it's authentic. I know the lighting makes it look a little "off", but I had to use a lamp when I took the images. I also have a PCGS MS65 RD to compare.

Great coin!! In 72, a neighbor got pennies from the bank for his business. Of the 6 rolls, there were 120 some double dies. He was so greedy, he sold them to a local coin dealer for about $50 each. I think his greed cost him a better deal. That is the closest I got to one. Dan

...i thought the very same thing, roger. i have one too and the very first thing i did was look for the markers. even though it was in a PCGS slab with a bean i still felt compelled to check it anyway. widegrin don't know why, i guess i'm funny that way.

In my image you can only see the single die marker above the reverse D, but both coins have all appropriate die markers. I think posting the EDS from coppercoins.com should be in order, for those who don't know http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate ... _state=eds
