A real reach for a 1972 S DDO

#1 Unread post by pahwa »

Found these two yesterday. I know I am really grasping at straws here but there is some similarities. The markers are tough to find with such worn coins, just comparing to CC 1972S-1DO-002. What are your opinions? Thanks.

I'm thinking strike doubling for them both. For the top coin the flow lines by IN God run more verticle on your coin and for the variety it is horizontal in that area. The bottom coin the MM shows doubling as well as the date so it has to be strike doubling.

Thanks Nolife. I was just comparing to the pics on CC and they looked pretty close and was just curious.

I agree with nolife, but don't give up, it's just a matter of time.
