2004D 1DR-001

#1 Unread post by Nolifeking »

Well I just finished my last bag of pennies from the 4 that I got last week. I made out pretty good on this last bag though. 4 or 5 doubled dies and 5 RPM's. Also have a nice Cud on a 1983. This beauty has to be the best find from all the bags though. Sorry that the pictures aren't the greatest. My camera has just not been focusing lately. :dunno

I don't think that it is the 1DR - 004 because in that variety the right planter is also doubled, which I can't see doubled in mine. That the only way I can distinguish them since my coin doesn't have any other markers from either variety. :l So I'm thinking since the planter isn't doubled as it should be in the 004 variety that this is probably the 001 one.

I say yes since there's doubled dies for the 1943 cents.

I'm not sure this is a DDO. Would like a view of EPB a little farther away and also like to see RTY on the obverse.Right now I'm thinking MD.

He said DDR not a DDO. I have 2 different 2004-P DDR coins (one is a DDR and DDO) and both dont look like this coin.
Did you match it up to anything on Coppercoins?

I know this isn't MD. I matched this up with copper coins DDR 001. The photos don't show the doubling that well. Ill post the link later so you know what I mean.

NoLife, I have two of these..both have the DDO-001 which is paired with this reverse. The dots should look like dashes as well...that's why I wanted a slightly bigger picture as I don't see dashes.

This is a 2004D not a 2004P. The 2004P the DDR looks like dashes. On the 2004D they do not.
Here is the coppercoins link.

Aha, why didn't you say it was a D...that was very tricky of you to change the title after I made a fool of myself :l

It happens to the best of us. :l I actually didn't notice that you and Jimmy were talking about 2004P until just a little bit ago.
