5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]

hey daniel. is this DDO on your list?

...i just read about this in the numismatist. i understand it was in numismatic news also. it is a 1988 lincoln cent DDO. i believe FS-101. from a tilted hub. :w

Ken Potter writes about a 1988 Doubled Die cent that was first reported by Christopher Beck of FL and sent in by Billy Crawford that features a strong double earlobe that he contends should vie for the same attention given to the 1984 and 1997 double ear cents. Potter points out that the later two varieties are in the Guide Book To United States Coins, edited by Kenneth Bressett and the Professional edition of the same book respectively. He compares the features on all three varieties and details the probable causes of the doubling.

I do remember mentioning that one on here when it was found/attributed...

Now I forgot to mention that a 1987 doubled ear was also found..not as dramatic as this but still pretty easy to see.
