can been seen on both sides so it wasnt stuck with something to indent it

I've found a dime very similar. Essentially this lump it the result of someone having too much time on their hands. I believe the lump is caused by heating the coin with a blow torch.

Considering the color of the coin, it does look like heat has been applied.
