1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). We're experienced and we look at this the same, new people being quarried about their coins makes them think there's still a chance based on new information.

Daniel,
I would like to give the poster an in-depth assessment of what they actually have.
I only need the "Diameter" of the coin, to explain a certain diagnostic.
Obviously, it is NOT a mint error.

Re: Mis struck error quarter on nickel
2 Days of posting on the same damaged coin seems a bit much. I can give an in depth without all this back and it's not good use of time IMO and PMs would be more appropriate if this is so necessary.

Re: Mis struck error quarter on nickel
Daniel that thought may be right for some. I guess, that because I have been here longer I now fully understand what Paul is doing. When Paul started asking me question like he doing here, I end up doing research to find out what he was asking and why. Just like the question he posted on a coin I posted about the alignment (did not know the exact term I used) of how the Obverse and Reverse alignment was. The terms he had ask me to look up, were a little off as he used the terms Currency Alignment and Medal (yes he use Medal not metal) Alignment. I had to do some research to figure out what he was actually teaching me about Coin and Metal alignment. Yes when he first started doing this I did think maybe I actually had something, when I started looking up what he asked, I found out that this is not what I thought I had. Yes, it was very hard pill to swallow at first.
