It looks normal to me now . I wonder if the scope pics are causing reflective issues ?

The notching of the stars is to hard to see from the fuzzy pics you posted. The notches may be there or its just the pics. Can you get better ones to post?

It appears some of the stars are notched where they should be for the DDR, but again, better pics are needed to verify that what I am seeing is not just in the picture itself.

Kennedy halves with doubled stars on the REV are not major doubled dies. So a picture of the entire REV would be useless to see the doubling unless very high resolution camera was used that allowed for extreme zooming in.

I see fuzziness and die deterioration. Wexlers doubledie.com has some great images of doubled dies to study and compare.

So as not to confuse the OP, here is a picture from varietyvista.com showing legit notching in stars for a 1967 DDR. Having found/made positive ID of several of these 1967 DDRs myself, I was trying to share that the fuzzy pics above might be showing this.

IF this type of notching is on the OPS coin, and only better pics will tell, then it would seem the OP has a DDR. I was trying to say from the fuzziness of the pics it is impossible to say for sure, but having been around these a bit, I am not ruling it out as being impoosible. Clear pics would show.

I encourage the OP to go to:
