Hello. Can you please tell me if this is strictly mechanical doubling.....legitimate doubling....or a combination of both. Checked guides and found similar but not exact. I tried for good pictures but probably not. TYVM

This is a well-traveled coin with the large quantity of contact marks....

I would need to see this firsthand,… To give you a 100% here.

Hey J, if you are serious about attributing errors, join CONECA, when you join you get super reduced rates for attribution and examination. It is best that this work is done in hand than with a photo. Tell them the Coin Mule sent you and they will charge you double, heheehe just kidding 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I agree with Daniel - I am also leaning towards machine doubling. The devices appear to have been made skinnier by the doubling:

Refer to the Os and Ts in your pics as they really seem to show the plowed-and-made-thinner look like in the above pic.
Common grading company shortcomings & resulting co$tly mi$take$ to collectors (using Kennedy No FG halves):

TYVM. It was the T's in states and the O in of that had me wondering. I thought I was seeing a split in the bottom of the S also but my pics are bad and I also thought it was looking mechanical but had to check. Thanks guys!
