PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Did I just find my first die crack ever?

Hey everyone,

I just received a Morgan Dollar for Christmas and I was looking at it with a loupe and noticed this faint line running across the top of the letters.

I’ve tried to read everything I could and listed to what Daniel said about die cracks so I’m hoping I’m not wrong as this is like a test in my ability to identify stuff.

Please (if it is a die crack) don’t tell me it’s not worth any more money. That’s not what I’m looking for I’m just trying to apply what I’ve learned.
