1955 L.W.C ERROR?? DD?

Hello, Good Afternoon. I have a 1955/P, L.W.C I have in my collection that, Upon inspection looks to have some irregularities' going on, On the obverse of the coin? I 'am in need of some expert opinion on this matter. Thank you kindly! Your opinion & expertise is highly valued.

I see die deterioration so it's a later die stage coin.
