The 'Micro S' will appear significantly more compact, and notice the difference in the location

I have the 45 micro s, MS68 graded from an unknown grader. Would it be worth to send it to PCGS for a crossover. Keep in mind it is missing the split on the middle band.

Then it's not a fully split bands and would not be worth sending. I doubt it's even MS68

I do not believe it's possible for a "Non-FSB" to be graded at a 68

Mercury dimes can be Graded MS68 with out FSB but it is very hard to get a 68 so if its a off brand holder i highly doubt it will hit the 68 marker but you never know> The coin that claudewill1 found is Closer to the range of a MSS64 or MS65 its a very beautiful coin and a great find

.......... and here is the whole "Grading Issue".

:eureka:
"Coin Grading", is the beauty of a coin in the eye that specific grader......
This is where the phrase "Buy the coin, not the slab" comes from
