1974 S Lincoln

I am not sure if the S is double-stamped or if the S is stamped over D? It just looks odd?

It's a damaged coin and anything you see on this coin is the result of that damage.

I hear you just one other question if I may...are all circulated coins considered damaged?

I would have to say "No"......

:eureka:
Imagine if you will, that you go to the local quick mart, and the cashier opens a new roll of coins for your change,....... dumps them in the divided compartment of the register, and hand you your change...
I believe that coin is now "Circulated", even though the roll was a OBW of uncirculated contact free coins.
I would still have to call it circulated...... even though the coin is in perfect condition......JMO

Coin can't be circulated unless it has circulation wear, cash register would do less to a coin than being dumped in a bin at the mint or shoveled like a silver dollar. Technically all coins are circulated coming from the mint based on this premise.
