Funky 48...

Hi ya! Ray again... Got a funky 1948 wheat penny was hoping for your thoughts on. Looks to be a foreign object that was stuck in the reverse die upon pressing, possibly? Tried to do better with the images this time... ;) Thanks again!

It's a delamination and very common. Use error-ref.com to look this up, you will learn a lot from that website.
