1958-D/D/D RPM-1?

#1 Unread post by claudewill1 »

Hello,
According to what I viewed at Wexler's Die Varieties, I believe I have found a 1958-D/D/D RPM-1.
Here are some pictures I have taken. I cleaned the lens on my phone and did my best to take clear images.

Thank you for any help. I looked at the other RPMs for that year and none of the others look close.

There is a large amount of RPM's for the 1958 Denver mint on record
...... 62 I believe ?

Yours appears to be the 1958D-1MM-001 :dunno

Of course you will need to match up the "Die Markers" to confirm its attribution

Could I submit it to you for attribution? And how would that work exactly?

Of course I could positively attribute it for you...

But we need to keep in mind, the "Degree of Rarity" we are looking at.
Since there are so many RPM's for this date and mint-mark...... even a high grade specimen does not command much value, sorry

To be sensible here, and not have you throwing your money around, I would chalk it up to a good find, place it in a properly labeled flip, and add it to your collection......... But that's just my opinion.
