1961d RPM?

#1 Unread post by TheTinMan »

This coin I tried matching with, existing files, but none included images, only an adequate description being that the coin has two horns.

I'd like to note that there are attributes of coins that appear in photographs, though not with the naked eye/loop viewing! Shadows lie! And I can see the unscrupulous using this to there advantage. Even in my greenhorn state of numismatics I can see plate disturbance, machine Doubling, and various other characteristics being misrepresented by supposed "Expert Professional's" in the coin marketing community. And my joining of your Page/group was because of your ordered professionalism and forthright honesty, not happen chance!
Thanks and appreciation for the personal time and energy...

Cool Guy's; Thanks!
I do believe I checked all the popular/legit list's and no image to be found, so then no die matches, only the description. I'm going to go find that listing. Copper Coins if memory serves...

This is the one from Copper Coins;

Two spikes protrude from the outside curve of the primary mint mark.
