Re: 1943 S Steel Penny, What is all the letters and numbers ??
Keep in mind that there is a learning curve to using a USB scope.
Your "set up", will be different than everyone else's. It's important to learn how to use all of the different settings for the scope, and most importantly your lighting of the object you are viewing.
Only the time that you spend using the scope will teach you what's "REAL", and what are anomalies. "Seeing" strange things on your monitor from the reflection of the surface on your coin, will happen all the time. Try "SPINNING" the coin under the scope as you view it on the monitor. These "ANOMALIES" should appear and disappear as you spin the coin under different lighting conditions.
I think what you're seeing here are anomalies picked up by the scope.

I agree with Pahl. The date and the mint mark will be apparent at any angle but these other anomalies will not, so they're just created by toning or discoloration on the coin.
