Once again this is a 1969 S double die Lincoln cent date.

1st coin 2000 D Jefferson nickel appears to be worn badly but the Coin weighed 5.0 g what do you think? 2nd coin 1978 in God we trust with the phone camera hard to see it but it's there doubled .3rd coin 1972 reverse double United States and the left side of the building what do you think?

The 1968 and 1969 are not doubled that is strike doubling and in my video I explain the differences. There's so many image examples online now it's easy to compare and doubled dies are varieties and varieties have die marks that have been mapped. You can find them at places like coppercoins.com and CONECA variety vista.

The nickel is just damaged and even if it's a bit over weight that's not going to matter and the 78 is strike doubling as well. A flat, outlined area to the side of a design element is always strike doubling.

First off, congrats on persevering and getting your images posted.

Second, 1968 and 1969 are known for an excessive number of non-valuable Mechanical Doubling MD). While it is interesting and most of us have saved an example it is pretty common and that is what yours appears to be.

Third, it is best to start a new thread for each coin or group of coins (with exactly the same issue) so we can address them all together as a group and avoid confusion.

Hello Daniel thank you again for your opinion you can't see much detail with the photo from a phone but under a loop there's more clarity. As for the Jefferson nickel I really can expect you to tell any more than what you see ,would be better if you were holding the coin. My thoughts are the hub and a die either were loose or little bit separated and the strike was not solid that's why on the reverse the Monticello dome you see a smoky color of the planchet with the loop you can see the the inner metal. And that's just my opinion for being a machinist for 32 years don't know if that carries any weight. What are your thoughts on the 1955 Lincoln cent where the Numbers are not distinct but looks like they've been pounded 3 or 4-5 times flat where they are actually fat numbers would you consider that a double die? And thank you for telling me to open a new thread whenever posting Consecutive photos It's always easier when somebody tells you how they like it done that way everyone remains friends. And lastly I still have the post each picture about 10 times before I get one photo to post thanks again. :trophy: Respectfuly

I just know from experience and handling thousands upon thousands of coins that these coins are not varieties or mint errors. If you look through enough coins you will find stuff like this. You will have to trust me. I have a huge collection of these and I featured some in my videos.

I have a 2000 D that has some crazy stuff going on and would just like to know your guys opinion on this nickel I have my ideas but I would like some expert opinions
