Hello...why is there a strange toning to this coin? Is it a woody penny?

Could be a "woody" but something seems off on the coloring of Lincoln's portrait.
The coloring seems to change with the height of the metal (high and low spots on the face).
A woody is usually streaked with parallel color differences.
This one might be a recolored or altered color candidate.

It has some planchet allow impurities or improperly mixed alloy but has worn down and would now add any value to the coin.

Impurities can be on one side of a coin or coil stock, we see it with lamination errors all the time.
