1960D Penny Error help

#1 Unread post by Ackiej25 »

Hi. I found a 1960 D penny that looks very different than any other. It's shiny and it looks like it's mixed with copper and silver. It weighs 3.2g. Has anyone ever seen this before and is it truly an error? I apologize if this is a stupid question but I'm new to this and have tried researching this but with no luck.

It is toning from being improperly stored.
