Memory Failure on mint error or damage!!

#1 Unread post by PetesPockets55 »

Someone recently posted here (I think) about a coin (Jefferson nickel?) that had what appeared to be little diamond shapes indentations on the surface.
in looking around the web I came across this error-ref link that looked similar. The link mentions a 1964 Jefferson nickel struck over a 1940 India ¼ rupee coin.

I was trying to find the thread and have not been successful. So I'm asking for help to see if this has any relevance to that thread or if anyone can find that thread?
Thanks in advance for any help sifting through my mental cobwebs. Cliff
