4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

Two headed 76 Eisenhower Silver Dollar
I have two Eisenhower silver dollars. They're both 1776-1976, and I'm pretty sure they're both type 2.
One is double headed and has a small speck of silver near the bottom. The other has one side upside down if you flip it horizontally.
Would these be worth anything?

To determine the "Type", look at the islands of Puerto Rico and the shape of Central America on the Earth.
As to a two-headed Ike... it's a gimmick coin used by magicians.Made by milling one coin to accept the obverse of another. You should be able to see a seam where the two are mated together.
See examples here.
If you flip any US coin horizontally, the reverse should be upside down. This is "coin alignment". If it were right-side up after flipping, it would be "medal alignment". US coins are made with "coin alignment". You should be able to compare that to most any other US coin to see that it is the same. If I have your description of flipping the coin horizontally incorrect, then you may have a coin exhibiting a rotated die.As to a two-headed Ike... it's a gimmick coin used by magicians.Made by milling one coin to accept the obverse of another. Re: Two headed 76 Eisenhower Silver Dollar
The 1976 Type Two is thin letters and the type one is thick letters, the Earth types are for 1972 and they didn't mint two headed Eisenhower Dollars.
