I have several types and have compared them just have to confirm the weight. But my scale says 3.11 for that one and 2.5 for the others.

The coin this person is talking about is possible, there was a recent specimen found, not too long ago, confirming that they were minted but in few numbers.

Has to be a small date with a D mint mark or it's normal. All the coins in the image are large dates and they minted those with copper planchets and copper plated zinc planchets.
So since all his coins are large dates then they're not the 1982-D small date copper planchets.

Clarification please. Are you saying the original coin in this thread weighs 3.1 grams?tracy.free wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2018 6:01 pm I have several types and have compared them just have to confirm the weight. But my scale says 3.11 for that one and 2.5 for the others.
(And some others weigh 2.5?)
It's a little confusing when you mention "that one" and then "the others" and there is an image of 5 coins.
Thanks.

Is that the small date you have pictured here? I've been going cross eyed trying to tell large date from small date!LOL
