2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. 10 different stages 1960 D die adjustment or grease filled dies
Now i posted 1 of these maybe 2 years ago and i was going through some coins the other day and looked in a roll of 1960 d cents and found 9 more of the same kinda coin where just the bust is weak the rest of the coin has a full strike nice full luster they are a little different each one showing a tiny bit more detail in each one should i have these graded by ANACS is it worth it and more important are they die adjustment or grease filled dies? I think they are pretty cool but not sure if they are worth sending out and would they mark them as different stages?

The thing is that the die was filled with grease so the design of the die was not changed in any way, so these can't be varieties. I am not saying you shouldn't send to ANACS and have them graded, but can't say the investment would be worth it either.
I think it is neat that you found them like this.

I just mean with grading fees. I think as is and as a lot there would be some interest for some specialized collectors.
I have die progression of die clashes, but might not be from the same dies but came from the same roll.

Hard to tell on a group like this, would think they would sell for more single, but you never know.

Isn't the ridge under the top of the letters of the motto near the rim caused by die fatigue (old dies)?[/size]
