1982 small date penny

Hi.can u tell me the difference with 1982 small compared to large date please?thank u

On the small-date '82 cents:
The '8' is about the same height as the '1' and '2'.

The '8' is fat and is taller than the '2'.

The main way I can tell is looking at the 2 of the date.
On the small date, the diagonal part coming off the top loop is curved slightly just before reaching the bottom "foot".
The large date is straight in this area.

Well Daniel, here's the pic of my 82 D which I thought was find #2, the copper small date. But last thing I read and checked was how close the 2 was to the rim. Love the red it has? Would've been a good find. Oh well.... now im trying to see how to attach my photo...
