1957 nickel error

I found this nickel it is missing the e in cents...???

Does that mean it wouldn't be worth anything..It doesn't seem to be there at all just an open space.

to give you a "100%" answer, i would need to hugeeyes it first hand, but,....
i DO NOT hugeeyes any type of 'error' here......

possibly "RUB" (wear), or a slight "DIE PLUGGING" (l.d..s hit)

There is no imprint at all no rub marks just flat open space.. I will see if I can get a better picture of it..

This happens when the cavity of the letter or digit is clogged with grease and is not struck. It is more common that most believe and I see these often myself, so it doesn't add any extra value to the coin.

Yes, it's worth face value. Of course someone on ebay might pay a little more.

I just found one of these in my change. Not sure of where it was minted yet but its in the stack of " needs to be checked". Haha
