Are the two images following the 1988 both of the 1988?
Because the first one following the 1988 image is the RDV-006 (Rev. of 1989) but the last image is too blurry.

1988 FG: G has no "gotee"

1989 FG: G has a "gotee"
This was the best method for my vision.

I'm not 100% sure on the reverse image you provided for the 1989, but with these tired hugeeyes I think your image is a normal 1989 (RDV-006). The end of the top of the "G" appears to stop short of the vertical bar of the bottom of the "G". Also, it may be a plating issue on the bottom right corner of the "G" that makes the coin in your image to be missing the "squareness".
I will go out on a limb and say, with the images you provided, I think your 1988 has the Reverse of the 1989 (RDV-006).
Congratulations, your PPL (Perseverance, Persistence and Luck) seems to have paid off! happydance:

Small distinction, but discernible.
