1941 10 cent error coin

#1 Unread post by kustompaint »

hi was just wondering if anyone else has or saw one of these coins...its a netherland ten cent piece and if you look closely it appears as if a dagger is going through her neck..and no it is definitely not a scratch..also a lot of accumulation around some of the lettering..on the reverse theres accumulation around some lettering and appears as if there wasn't enough metal to complete the leaves on one side..i took pics, they may not be the best but are legible..if anybody has input whether good or bad ,please let me know..i was sorting through older coins I had since I was a child and had noticed it along with a few strange coins from other parts of the world

The coin is damaged on the rim, but need better images of the back side of this coin, since this damage could be part of what is happening on her bust. The coin could have been squeezed in vice grips or something similar.

I will try and post a cuple better pics of the back side..when I looked at it with an eye loop theres no signs of even fine scratches...its just like there was too little or too much metal on the left leaf side...thanks for checking
