2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. Strike error on a 88 quarter?
I have a 1988 quarter that looks to be a miss-strike. on the front, the upper boarder is wider as if the quarter was further down in the die when it was struck. The other issue is the reverse. If you take any normal quarter and hold the front straight up and flip it exactly straight up to the back, the eagle is straight up but on this one the eagle is canted about 10 degrees to the left. I've had this for nearly 20 years and out of habit have checked each quarter I get since then and have never come up against another. Is this something worth hanging on to or is it more of a curiosity? Thanks for your knowledge on this subject. John

I'm no expert ,but try comparing same coin to eBay price ? It gives you rough estimate of how much its worth ,sounds like a very interesting "error" ! Maybe local coin shop can take a look also !

Pictures please, we have to have images.
Also ebay is not a good place to look for error values unless the coin is already certified by PCGS, NGC, ICG or ANACS.
