2007 Lincoln Penny: damage or error?!

Hey all! Just joined the site and this is my first post!
I found this 2007 penny and can’t tell whether this is damage done post mint by someone or an error... any information would be appreciated!

Looks similar to a huge lamination but looks deeper than the plating. I agree with Pahl
