Colorful quarter errors or just fun to look at?

#1 Unread post by Annaw »

Hi! I have two quarters (pictured below) that I can't seem to find reason for why they would be colored the way they are (1 gold, 1 green/purple/red hues). The gold quarter is dated 1986 (P) and the multi-colored is a 2001 (P) North Carolina state quarter. Any chance I might be able to never have to worry about money again? ;)

I am sorry but mint errors just don't work that way, there's no mint error discovery that will relieve you from your worries of money. Anyway, looking at the two coins, it looks like toning but feel free to post more images if you would like me to look closer at the 1986. The 2001 is a toned coins for certain.
