I'm a little confused ( as usual ) . I've seen slabbed coins that say "Cleaned" on them . I have a 1836 Capped Bust Half lettered edge that just says : Genuine, NOTGRADABLE on the back . Why does PCGS do this, or is it a choice of the person submitting the Coin who knows that its been Cleaned ? I mean it's evident just by the serial number that ends with a 92 . Is it because they couldn't fit everything on one side ?? That's my guess. Also, as you can see it's slightly rotated .What grade would you give it. It doesn't look cleaned to me. Maybe it's re-toning .
