1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Re: The New C-Note
These new notes look like play money and they're very stiff and stick together when fresh, but it should be much more difficult to counterfeit.
Re: The New C-Note
The teller at the bank said they already got a couple bogus new $100. Seems there is a sophisticated printer that mimics them pretty well. You can tell if you look closely, but most people will accept them on sight. Crooks will always find a way. I agree about the lack of class these notes display. If they would light up, they would be completely clown like.
Re: The New C-Note
On the contrary, this notes are very easy to counterfeit ,the feds spent millions to prevent this bill to be copied and that was a big failure and waste of money as usual, because did you hear about the 12 year old boy who made a perfect $100 note so good that the mint had to be called in to tell the difference between his note and a mint made one? he did it only to prove that it could be done and not to pass off any fakes, he was the one who called the feds in to check his copies,so of course the feds confiscated all of his equipment and told him when he turns 18 he has a job at the mint=true storyPALH1 wrote:hugeeyes
