Unless you have more information, the modern "English" numbers and the random pattern on the numbered side imply these are not money.

Look more like a tract or statement.
The red fist inside a star with a sickle is a communist labor symbol. That would make this something like a "Fight for communism" message.

I'm looking more into the Chinese lettering.

Provincial Soviet Workers and Farmers Bank. These were in a frame that I accidentally broke some time back. Purchased near Savanah Il. Was nice wall art until falling off wall and breaking. Stuffed them into a book and forgot about them until discovering this site which prompted me to hunt for them. Was penciled on back of frame that they were soviet workers notes.

Amazing what happens when what little information known about an item is shared.

These are actually money.
1933 China 1-5 Ch'uan Cloth Note
Szechuan-Shensi Provincial Soviet Workers and Farmers Bank
The red area is a validation stamp by the bank.
Made between 1931 and 1937.

These notes are extremely rare. In a Hong Kong auction, they realized $1600, each. (But, those were much less faded.)
In the US, they have sold for as much as $250 each.
The note below, sold on Heritage Auctions last year for $776.

"The Chinese Soviet Republic (founded 1931) were mostly self-governing hard to reach areas led by Mao Zi Dong and were made up of peasants. Very early coins and few banknotes made in this period (1927-1935) had Workers and Peasants Bank or Chinese Soviet Republic, in Chinese, labelled on them, with hammer and sickle symbols. Banknotes issued during this period were issued by entities that included the province name (ex. Hubei and Hunan), followed by workers and farmers bank all in Chinese characters. Many banknotes from 1932-1935 were labelled Chinese Soviet Republic National Bank, all in Chinese characters. Some of these banknotes featured a picture of Lenin, Marx, or Stalin on them, and some were even made of cloth. The Soviet Union tried and failed at that time tried to recruit Sun Yat Sen to spread communism and influence the urban industrial workers, because China at that time were mostly peasants, unlike in Soviet Union. After the Long March (in 1935), all Communist currency started using paper only (with few or no coins). Because early paper were of very low quality, many banknotes were also printed on cloth."

I'd recommend getting them authenticated. (At least one of them.)
IF it comes back authentic, then submit the rest. I say this because this is something that could be easily replicated.
