1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Seated Dollar Values & Mintages: Great Investment
If you collected Seated Dollars good for you, and I would like to know, so chime in. It's a wonder that entry level collectors can still buy a US Seated Dollar. If you look at the mintages and calculate the survival rate, you're talking about coins that number in a few hundred and no more than a few thousand.
Check out the low mintages compared to the values Seated Liberty Dollar

Re: Seated Dollar Values & Mintages: Great Investment
Sorry, thought I would resurrect this thread/post.
I was just scrolling through some old threads and "Great Investment" caught my eye. As I mentioned in an earlier thread; (for me anyway) the words "coins" and "investment" in the same sentence never seems to pan out. (You're the exception Daniel)
Not that I'm focused on investment or profit, I'm not. No question, I've lost money in this hobby. It's the joy of collecting and finding the coins I need and like, that gives me the satisfaction... Making it all worth it for me.

So now that you opened an old can of worms, is this the next "Post your blank here" post?
Re: Seated Dollar Values & Mintages: Great Investment
Well, I don't really think I opened a can of worms. It's just my opinion.
But I am open to suggestions regarding the: Post Your "Blank" Here thread.

Only in my dreams. I never had that kind of cash to try a collection of them. Admittedly even as a kid I wanted to collect them though.

I kind of wish I had one of these in this "inherited" coin stash I'm sifting through. The oldest thing so far has been an 1884 Morgan Dollar, but that's not too impressive it seems... LOL
If anyone has one of these, can we see pics? At the very least, I want to see!
